Just photos?

Yes! Ross wants to share, and we all know he is a man of few words (unless he's drinking). It is a collection of photos from Peterborough to the end of the North Channel.

We are way ahead in New Buffalo, MI right now, and will head to Chicago in a week. Expect a blog posting with our latest escapades shortly. But for now, enjoy the visual trip down memory lane in Canada...

Starting with the Peterborough Lift Lock

Some various and sundry sights along the Trent-Severn Waterway:

Bobcaygen Lock, first lock built on the Trent Severn

"Boat Parade" Bobcaygen Lock

Entrance to one of the narrow channels,
only wide enough for one Zone at a time....

See what I mean!!!!!

Kirkfield Lift Lock, highest point of the Great Loop
841 feet.....

Navigation NIGHTMARE, Surrounded by rocks

These are good rocks (you can see them).

Exactly! And you must remember that
birds don't walk on water.

 The Big Chute:

The Zone positions itself on a submerged platforrm

The boat is then strapped in....

and then lowered some sixty feet ...

The glorious, hazardous, unforgiving Georgian Bay:
One hundred and thirty miles of totally unforgiving, treacherous water.

Henry's Fish Restaurant, only game in town.

Just a test to see if you're really looking at these photos

Why would you want to build a house in the middle
of nowhere on a rock?????

Nasty rocks like this could spoil your trip...

I swear our friendly Canadians fertilize their rocks.

Just another scary rock infested passage...

You can see the outline of the submerged
rocks just lurking below the surface....

Turtle Rock

Ahh those memorable Canadian sunsets:

Hope you liked the show!
