No, but we've had oh-so-many adventures and have been oh-so-many places but just haven't had time, opportunity and internet service to share it all in the manner this trip deserves.
Please accept my humble apologies for this pitiful quickie "just so you know we're alive" blog until I'm able to do it justice and include our stories and pictures.
We've been to:
Staten Island, NY
Croton-on-Hudson, NY
The Erie Canal and plenty of locks (and have the cuts, scrapes and bruises to prove it)
Sackets Harbor, NY
Clayton, NY and the glorious, breathtaking Thousand Islands
We entered Canada in Gananoque (you should hear Ross try to pronounce that!), Ontario,
and we are presently in Kingston, Ontario
Believe you me (whatever that means), we are having the time of our lives, and are even more excited about what's to come. We will be headed to the Trent-Severn Waterway to the Georgian Bay to the North Channel to Lake Michigan to.. well, you get the picture.
The Captain & I are are getting ready to have ourselves a July 4th BBQ here on The Zone, hoping we don't piss off the Canadians on the dock. "They sure talk funny", says Ross, who also says we're in, "Canader".
Until we meet again, please know we miss our family and friends and Looper pals we haven't seen in a while!
Happy Birthday, America!
Here are some pictures for now starting with NY:
